Marisa Anne Claire - Makeup Artist
My specialty is weddings, but I do it all!
I am a graduate from MakeUp Designory (M.U.D.) in Burbank, California and have recieved my diploma for completing the mastery makeup program. The skills I learned include Beauty Makeup (doing weddings, photography & film), Character Makeup (applying bald caps, prosthetics [see photo below], aging with makeup, etc.), and Special FX (making prosthetics & creating animatronix heads).

There's More to Beauty Makeup than just weddings & makeovers
Often used in print (photography) is Glamour Makeup. A more high drama & intense application of makeup. You see it everyday in your magazines & even sometime on film (TV or movies). It's a fun way to wear your makeup for evening occassions or for photos as well. Glamour Makeup is great to play around with for makeovers, but isn't usually an everyday, natural look.

Expanding More On Beauty Makeup

Character Makeup
Here's anexample of two prosthetic pieces. I applied a nose as well as a lip & chin piece. I then used an airbrush to paint my models face.
